Job Duties:

Electrical Foreman will oversee industrial electrical projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and company standards. The Electrical Foreman will lead one or more teams of journeyman and apprentice electricians, coordinate job site activities, and effectively communicate with Superintendent, Project Manager, and customer for project details and expectations.

**MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND AT MOMENTS NOTICE FOR EMERGENCIES**

ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Supervise and lead a team of electricians and apprentices on industrial electrical projects.
    • Assign tasks, manage workloads, and ensure team members meet quality and safety standards.
    • Train and mentor journeyman and apprentice electricians, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Project Oversight & Execution:
    • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and job specifications.
    • Plan and lay out electrical work, ensuring efficient project execution.
    • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial electrical systems, including motor controls, switchgear, power distribution, PLCs, and wiring.
    • Perform quality control checks to ensure proper installations and functionality.
    • Coordinate accurate material ordering and equipment deliveries to the job site.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Enforce safety policies and ensure all work is performed per OSHA, NEC, and company regulations.
    • Conduct safety meetings and ensure job sites remain hazard-free.
    • Properly use PPE and ensure all team members follow safety procedures.
  • Communication & Coordination:
    • Work closely with superintendent, project managers, and customers to ensure project requirements are met.
    • Report progress, delays, challenges, and complaints to management.
    • Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and subcontractors.
    • Keep accurate records of job site activities, timekeeping, and materials used.
COMPETENCIES 
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, industrial power systems, and control wiring.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Proficiency with industrial electrical installations, including conduit bending, wiring, motor controls, and switchgear.
  • Experience working with PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related electrical construction software for purchasing and job management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Certifications & Licenses:
    • Valid Journeyman License; Valid Driver’s license
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods.
    • Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and work at heights.
    • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs regularly, and occasionally heavier).
    • Ability to work in confined spaces, crawl spaces, and trenches.
    • Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
    • Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and dust.
  • Environment:
    • Work is performed in industrial settings such as manufacturing plants, power plants, refineries, and construction sites.
    • Exposure to high-voltage electrical systems and hazardous work environments.
    • Work may involve outdoor exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
    • Job sites may involve loud noise levels and require hearing protection.
    • May require extended hours, night shifts, weekends, and occasional travel based on project need.

Job Duties:

Unified Personnel is seeking dependable and skilled Low Voltage Cable Installers to join our team in Seguin, TX. This position involves the installation, termination, and testing of low voltage cabling systems for commercial and industrial projects. Ideal candidates will have experience with structured cabling, network infrastructure, and low voltage systems, but entry-level applicants are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, terminate, and test Category 5e, 6, and fiber optic cables
  • Pull and route low-voltage cabling in new and existing construction (e.g., through ceilings, walls, and conduit)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
  • Set up telecom closets and equipment racks
  • Label and document all cables and components according to company standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site
  • Communicate with team leads and project managers to ensure timely project completion
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in low voltage cabling preferred, but not required
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in tight spaces
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site
  • Ability to work 8–10 hour shifts, including occasional overtime
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
